Kitset Greenhouses Stole the Show!

We recently exhibited at the Auckland Home & Garden Show, and it was a bloomin’ success. It’s fair to say Aucklander’s love a quality kitset greenhouse.

Now in its second year, the Auckland Home & Garden Show is a relative newcomer to the expo scene, but we were delighted with the organisation and visitor numbers over the four days (22-25 May). Plus the weather was perfect for the entire time, which always encourages people to get out and about.

We showcased the Solara Glasshouse and the Breeze Polycarbonate models, and with 17,200 visitors coming through the doors, our Greenhouse team lead, Karina, was kept busy. She had the following to say about the event:

"Our first Auckland Home and Garden Show was a great success for us! The strong visitor turnout gave our relatively new product great exposure. We are very happy with the number of new leads generated as well as the post show sales. Offering free tickets and 2-for-1 vouchers in the lead-up to the show was an effective way to engage with our existing customers and encourage them to visit us at the show. It was also fantastic to meet so many new customers over the four days. Overall, a very successful experience."

The event organisers took the opportunity to survey visitors, and of those canvassed, 96% were homeowners, and 70% had a home improvement project either underway or planned within the next 24 months – that’s a couple of good results for products like greenhouses. And that’s just the Auckland region.

It’s also great to report that the highest bid for the Solara Glasshouse in our silent auction has now been accepted by a very happy bidder who is currently building in Mangawhai. The auction received a fantastic uptake, with 65 bids made during the event. The Eclipse is another option for those who seek a premium glasshouse.
